Board Members: Craig announced a need for more board members to take their cameras out on the trail with them to take photos for the newsletter. Whether it is taking photos of a workday with people in action building things or photos on the trail, they are important to the newsletter. Email photos to Rick.
Jeff brought up the point that for photos of people on the workdays, perhaps FWT should put something into our volunteer waiver form about being able to use photos for the newsletter if they have volunteered to work.
Jeff will look into this.
Sunday Hikes Report: There were 15 participants for the February hike.
Sharon will ask Alisa K. to send the one-page FWT summary (to use instead of the brochure) to board members.
Habitat Committee: No news.
Scout Projects: Hanna was suppose to send her project information to Don B. but has not done so yet.
The United Church of Christ has 40 youth volunteers that would like to help with projects on a particular day. The Bird Sanctuary Trail needs help with raking stone.
Rich will respond that FWT has some work ideas for the volunteers and will see the volunteers can be folded into the July 10 workday. FWT leaders have ideas and can firm up the ideas with the church leader and can meet with them sometime before the workday.
Norma brought up the topic of a Girl Scout who wants her Gold Award and has until the end of the summer for finish a project. Jenna Bilsback would like to build something. Jeff threw out the idea of replacing the Vosburg boardwalk and improving the trails.
Norma and Jeff will work together to arrange to show Jenna the project.
Norma will take the lead.
