DESCRIPTION:On this rare Sunday Workday\, help remedy a drainage problem on the Connector Trail\, which starts across from the Whiting Road Nature Preserve parking lot.  Follow the signs to the Midnight Trail.  A few hundred feet down the trail\, we will be digging trenches for new drainage pipes. \n\n\n\nPark at Whiting Road\, and cross at the Midnight Trail sign on the east side of the road \n\n\n\nBring:  Volunteers should wear long pants\, boots\, and gloves. Bring a shovel\, root cutter\, mattock or pick axe if you have one\, root cutters. And water\, sunscreen\, and bug repellent.

We will be clearing vines and dense foliage around the fence in several areas and replacing a fence post.  We need about a dozen folks to do this job.  Meet at the Big Woods parking lot at Drumm and Vosburg at 9 AM. \n\n\n\nBring: Work gloves\, hand clippers\, loppers\, powered hedge clipper and lots of energy.
