Projects for this workday include adding gravel to the Pink Trail boardwalk to ease the transition; moving gravel to the Orange Trail; benching (digging the trail into a hillside) on the Blue Trail; removing large downed trees on the new section of the Green Trail; and planting 15 trees near the parking area. DESCRIPTION:This preserve includes about 240 acres of land that is made up of a variety of birdhabitats\, resulting in decent bird lists throughout the year. The trails are well markedand maintained\, however\, they can get muddy at times\, so appropriate footwear isrecommended based on the weather leading up to the trip date.
