Linking Whiting Road Nature Preserve and Webster Park trails, the Midnight Trail is a moderate, packed-dirt trail. The Webster Park connector trail begins across from the Whiting Road Nature Preserve parking lot, and the main Midnight Trail loop can also be accessed from Lake Road.
Once you are on the Midnight Trail, you will find mostly level paths with several moderate slopes that meander in a loop around primarily old beech wood growth. There are several interior trails that bring you to a picnic area (please, carry-in/carry-out your picnic trash). These multi-use trails are great for walking, running, biking, cross-country skiing, and snow shoeing.
Biking Access
Cycling is not permitted on Webster Park trails, including the Connector Trail from Whiting Road. Cyclists should access the Midnight Trail via the park road which starts at 999 Lake Road and goes south to the Mohawk Lodge and the Midnight Trail.
History
The Town of Webster purchased the 23 acres from Gene and Jeanne Midnight.
