June ’26 Evening Habitat Workday
June 17 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
There’s more trees to be planted as we restore habitat in our preserves.
This time we’re focused on a part of the Hojack Trail that is ready for some love: the trail east of Route 250 in the village. We’ll be planting some low-growing trees/tall shrubs to provide screening, shade, and insect habitat, especially for the Giant Swallowtail Butterfly.
Wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and gloves, and be sure to use bug repellent.
Bring: Shovels or planting spades
Parking: Park where the Hojack crosses Route 250
