Friends has been hard at work in Herman Road FWF, and it shows! You can be part of the next improvements, with lots to choose from. Projects for this workday include adding gravel to the Pink Trail boardwalk to ease the transition; moving gravel to the Orange Trail; benching (digging the trail into a hillside) on the Blue Trail; removing large downed trees on the new section of the Green Trail; and planting 15 trees near the parking area. Most of the projects require lifting.

Wear sturdy shoes, gloves, and long pants/sleeves.

What to bring: work gloves, shovels, tampers, wheelbarrows, garden metal-tine rakes, square-end garden spades, chain saws.
