Adimistrative Reports
  1. Approve/Change Agenda: Approved
  2. Approve Minutes of June Meeting: Approved
  3. Membership Status – Denise B
    • 2 new members
    • 239
    • $800 for Herman Road
    • 155 volunteer hours
  4. Review of Treasurer Report – See Report
    • Spending on projects has increased, as planned
    • Renewal of CDs is in process
    • Charities Bureau filing loose ends
  5. Reports –
    • Website Inquiry Summary – Norma
      • Lots of trees down
      • Graffiti carved into a tree at FMC – Steward looking into it

Trail Planning and Maintenance

  1. Trails Chair Report/Projects – Linda
    • All stewards have shirt, vest, and/or hat
    • FMCP – Evidence of criminal activities to be reported, and will add sign “Warning: Security Camera in use”
    • Parks & Rec spreading gravel on Bird Sanctuary on wet areas.
    • Gravel now to be in “bucket load” quantities.
    • WRNP Red Trail new boardwalk and puncheon combo needs additional gravel. Ron will add it in stages.
    • SRNP trail smoothing for August workday
    • September workday: Possibly HRFWF
    • Hojack sign installation – Ben and Pat to pick a date, Denise to include date in next email
    • Boulders to be requested for Hojack at Hard and Klem: ACTION ITEM: Linda to request
    • Projects available – need scouts
  2. SRNP Boardwalk – Linda/ Tim/ Paul: Replacement of boardwalk that was displaced
    • Plan to reinstall with cost not to exceed $500 – Approved by voice vote

Meeting Notes
  1. Ralph Wilson Jr Trail Maintenance Fund
    • Hojack Grant Signage Update – Ben/Pat: Signs to be installed in August
    • Ribbon Cutting Event & Community hike, Proposal for review – All: Determine Date: TH Sept 3 rd , FRI 4 th or SAT 5 th ?
      • ACTION ITEM: Anna or Ben check with donor on best date.
      • As soon as we have a date, work on setting up a committee, and send email to members for volunteers
  2. Re-Tree/Habitat Activities: Sarah/ Norma
    • Monroe county Grant for Low mow native plantings, received from Maria Dewar Webster Town Grant liaison, opportunity for input received 07/06/26, grant due 07/08/26 – Norma/Sarah
  3. Promote/Events/Fundraising –

      • 7/23/26 FWT Zoom meeting to review our FINAL FWT comments to be submitted to the planning committee (Zoom link to follow)
      • 7/27/26 Anna to provide FWT feedback to Webster Comprehensive Plan Committee
