Taran Bauer Leads Four Mile Creek Preserve Yellow Trail Bridge Project
The Friends of Webster Trails is happy to announce the installation of a bridge on the new Yellow Trail at Four Mile Creek Preserve. Mr. Taran Bauer of Troop 363, along with 25 volunteers, accomplished the bridge construction. Taran’s effort was to fulfill the leadership requirement necessary to earn the Boy Scout Eagle Rank. The work was completed in October 2016.
The Four Mile Creek Preserve in Webster is a popular hiking destination.The eastern section of the preserve has been largely undeveloped. With construction of the bridge,a new half mile Yellow Trail is now open for use. A total of 120 volunteer hours were used to complete the project.
