The kiosk was built by Eagle Scout Alex Groff in 2018. The Village of Webster wanted to provide the content and for some years there were some temporary postings. Recently, the Village, with our partner McAllister Sign, gave the kiosk a professional makeover and it looks great. On one side is an aerial photo of the area from years ago with photos of some prominent industries provided by the Webster Museum. QR codes can take you to more detail. On the other side is a map of the same vintage and more photos. It all makes clear the reason for the Hojack railroad and its importance to the area.
