The long winter was a time of planning for Friends of Webster Trails, and the result is a year of events that will take us through the seasons ahead.

Many events are now listed online, including trail workdays and events like the annual scavenger hunt. If registration is required, there’s a link in the event, with a list of what to bring for the best experience.
The first workday of the year is fast approaching for State Road Nature Preserve on April 12. The trails need a bit of TLC to clear brush from the sides. Be sure to register online.
An event for all ages will happen on April 26 at the ReTree Nursery with the annual seedling potting event. Celebrate Earth Day by preparing seedlings for a year of growth in the nursery where we’ll nurture to be ready for field planting later.
The calendar has much on it, but we’re not done yet. You can expect to see a fall Hot Cocoa Hike and other events once we have the final details confirmed, so check back often.
