Finn Park consists of 50 acres just north of Route 104 between Maple Drive and Gravel Road. The trails through the forest are moderate, but the loop through the meadow is easy.

The trail begins in the woodlot behind Liberty Lodge at the southeast corner of the parking lot. The trail travels over a small stream, through a mature beech forest, and to a perimeter trail around a meadow. This meadow trail circles around ideal monarch butterfly habitat. The footpath parallels Shipbuilders Creek before finally looping back to the forest.

Archery hunting is permitted seasonally for those enrolled in the town program. The season starts October 1 and ends in December, with hunting permitted from 30 minutes before sunrise until 10am, and from 3pm until 30 minutes after sunset. Other park users should wear blaze orange when using the preserve during those times.
