Hojack Trail

The Hojack Trail is Webster’s premier Rails-To-Trails trail. Part of the former Hojack Railroad, it runs almost five miles from the north west of town to the south east between Lake Road and Phillips Road. Except for a slight grade, the trail is mostly flat, making it popular for biking, as well as running, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Connections to other trails can be made from the Hojack, including the Vosburg Hollow Nature Trail, John Ungar & Michael A. Johnson Trails, Charles E. Sexton Memorial Park, and the Bird Sanctuary Trail. Several of these trails, in turn, offer connections to other trails. The recent addition of several benches along the trail offer convenient rest stops, and restroom facilities are available in season at North Ponds Park and at the Van Alstyne Road trailhead.
