FWT’s ReTree initiative has been working hard for the last few years to add more native species to our open spaces, building our future forests, and now it has inspired others.
After an initial inquiry back in Jan. 2023, Color Irondequoit Green recently planted their first trees and shrubs on the grounds of the East Irondequoit School District, and they are actively looking for additional locations for more planting next year.
