More than a dozen volunteers spent their Saturday morning on May 18 improving the trails in State Road Nature Preserve. They were the able to take advantage of the nearly completed parking lot, and their smiles brightened as the light drizzle at the start gave way to some blue skies and sunshine.
The group was able to divide and conquer, with half cutting back growth on the existing trail and the others working to clear a new trail in the southwest of the preserve.
Thanks to the volunteers for helping to improve our trails!
